Supplies You Will Need:

Scissors

A piece of fabric (old shirt, skirt) that fits around your head (I don’t have specific measurements)

Hair tie

  • Lay your fabric on the floor. Use your scissors to cut the fabric along the inseam. Tada! Now you have one LARGE piece of fabric. If it is a skirt or something with a tight waistband, be sure to cut it off or find a way to make it work.

  • Put said fabric on top of your head.

  • Part the fabric so you have two long pieces, like the two laces on a shoe.

  • Take these two pieces and tie them together like the first tie of a shoe.

  • Tighten to your head however makes you comfortable.

  • Take the tied pieces and wrap them in a bun formation on either side of your head.

  • Once in a tight bun, fasten with a hair tie (oh, irony), and enjoy!

Tip-You can cut the legs of of some pantyhose and put remainder on your head before you put the fabric on. It helps keep the head wrap on.

If you’re like me, the scarf slips once in awhile but it’s no biggie! Just fix it and remain calm and beautiful :)
